Ägg Tapes and Records is a label by the Swede “Ägget” Berntsten. As a tape label they stated with the Raped Ass Compilation in 1982 – 1983.

As a tape label Ägg Tapes released 18 tapes.

Ägget is said to be a person that have one foot in punk and the other foot in the “raggare” culture. Early indications in the 80’s was that he used to drive around in large early 60’s Cadillacs with a preference of boozing and mayhem. The label has slowly transformed into a Rockabilly label but also with artist, preferable girls, with quite sexual lyrics

My knowledge of the band Junkyard is quite limited. I have mailed Ägget for more info but he is for sure fully busy releasing records and promoting concerts.
